Features and how to use CardKeeper
- View a card: tap a card to display its barcode or QR code.
- Add a card: press the + button to add as many cards as you need.
- Scan a barcode: press the button to scan a barcode from physical card using the camera.
- Choose a format: Code 128, EAN‑13, or QR code—rendered on the fly.
- Add a logo: attach a shop logo (or any image) to each card.
- Share a card via Apple AirDrop: press the Share button and save locally or send to a family member's device.
- Zoom the barcode: Press on the barcode view to zoom it. Rotate your iPhone to landscape for even larger view.
Tip: adjust screen brightness when scanning in low light.

Designed to be simple and predictable.
- Local storage: all card data stays on your iPhone and is never sent to a server.
- On-device rendering: barcodes/QR codes are generated on the fly as needed.
- Share cards: easily share cards with family and friends with AirDrop or via Files.
- Scan barcode: easily read physical cards with the camera to retrieve the barcode.
Privacy
Your privacy is central to CardKeeper. The app does not track you and does not collect personal data. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.

Data collection
CardKeeper collects no personal data.
Cards, names, and images you add remain on your device. CardKeeper does not transmit your data to any remote server or central storage.

CardKeeper does not use third‑party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking technologies.
Camera Usage
Only scanning barcode
CardKeeper may use the camera to scan physical cards or other barcodes or QR codes. User must allow camera usage in order to be able to use it for scanning.
The camera is used exclusively to scan barcodes.
No photos or video are recorded, stored, or transmitted outside your device without your explicit action.
Photos access
Retrieve company logos from your library
CardKeeper may use the Photos app in order to access images of company logo previously stored in Photos.
Photo library access is used solely to let you choose existing images (such as logos) for use within the app.
Selected images are not uploaded or shared and remain on your device unless you choose to export them.
Support
If you contact support, your email will be handled by your email provider and ours.
We use your message only to respond and troubleshoot. Do not include sensitive information in your email.
We will never share or sell your email address or other data provided for support purpose

CardKeeper does not provide any company logo or brand identity.
It is up to the user to select any image of his choice in order to easily retrieve a particular card or brand.
